What To Expect With A Snow Removal Contract
Anytime you hire a company to do work, whether it’s for snow removal, landscaping, electrical, etc., you need to have some sort of contract before the work starts for several reasons: It establishes what is expected of the company, start and end dates, the cost of everything, and much more. It’s important to discuss with us exactly what you need to be done during the snow removal process. Because each contract can be very specific depending on the service, we wanted to break down some elements that could be included with your contract.
- Per Storm: Not every storm needs a full snow removal service. If it’s just an inch or two you might be able to handle it depending on what’s going on. However, now and then storms can get a little out of hand, or there can be multiple storms in a row. One to two inches each storm quickly adds up. In this case, we’re able to work on an as-needed basis depending on the number of inches on the ground.
- Seasonal: You can hire our company for the full winter season. No matter how many inches of snow or ice is on the ground we will come out to get it cleared out for you. You won’t need to contact us when the storm comes and we will try to get everything cleared as early as possible.
What happens if it’s a mild winter?
Nature can be very finicky sometimes, and it’s hard to gauge just how bad the winter is going to be. Some winters there could be tons of snow and ice while the next winter barely has anything. Because of this, snow removal contracts can span out two to three years to even out the cost. That is something we’ll discuss further depending on the service you request.
